This beautiful, very rare 9-inch high pink chested parakeet budgerigar is beautifully modelled sitting on a tree branch, in a very dynamic pause, with its wings spread, on a stylish oval base. Produced in 1910-s with great realism and attention to the details and hand painted in various shades of green, yellow pink and blue. Colours radiate under the the glossy varnish.
Produced at German porcelain manufactory Fasold & Stauch, it began operations in 1903. By 1906, the manufactory had already achieved significant success, producing artistic figurines, vases and other objects alike, in very small runs, working mainly in classical style reminiscent of Alt-Sevres and Meissner porcelain.
Fasold & Stauch porcelain manufactory produced exquisite items, mainly in the category of small sculpture. Due to the small runs of these items, few have survived.

Marked to the bottom with S mark crossed by two twisted vertical lines, word Germany and impressed number 16630.
The figurine comes in an original condition, with no chips, cracks or wear.

Returns
Returns are accepted within 30 days from item receipt. Refunds will be made after return of the item in original condition.
